About the doctor
Dr. Romero-Ibarra is an interventional cardiologist, received his medical training at the Faculty of Medicine of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the National Institute of Nutrition "Salvador Zubiran" (INNSZ) where he was chief of residents, completed the specialty of Cardiovascular medicine and the high specialty in Interventional Cardiology at the National Institute of Cardiology "Ignacio Chávez" of Mexico City, specialties with recognition by the UNAM, where he was chief of residents of interventional cardiology.
Dr. Romero-Ibarra completed a subspecialty in structural interventionism and congenital heart disease in adults at the National Institute of Cardiology, and a Master's degree in endovascular intervention of aorta and peripheral vascular disease at the Gavazzeni Clinic in Bergamo, Milan, Italy and in the Maria Cecilia Hospital, in Ravenna, Italy, degree with recognition by the University of Milan - Bicocca, Italy.
Dr. Romero-Ibarra was a professor of cardiovascular physiology at the Faculty of Medicine of the UNAM and is currently a principal investigator of randomized clinical trials (RCT) of BRCR global Mexico.
